Pipeline construction across Highway 6 for the Spanish Fork Reach of the Spanish Fork/Santaquin Pipeline is scheduled to begin on Monday, October 16.

SPANISH FORK- Pipeline construction across Highway 6 for the Spanish Fork Reach of the Spanish Fork/Santaquin Pipeline is scheduled to begin on Monday, October 16 and be completed no later than Friday, October 28. The turning lane off of Highway 6 onto 3400 East, Spanish Fork (1600 West, Mapleton) closed Thursday, September 28 and will not reopen until Friday, October 28.
Two-way traffic on Highway 6 will continue with one lane open in each direction. General work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Construction officials urge the public to use caution in the construction zone, when approaching construction vehicles and to observe any construction signs.
The Spanish Fork Reach of the Spanish Fork/Santaquin Pipeline consists of furnishing and installing approximately 8,480 feet of 60-inch steel pipeline and approximately 230 feet of 72-inch jacked casings under two Union Pacific Railroads along with modification of existing concrete structures, asphalt paving, earthwork and other appurtenances and related work. The construction contract was awarded to Condie Construction, a Springville-based civil construction firm, in April 2017.
