Helmet Safety
Health Promotion

Each year thousands of people die and thousands more are seriously injured in bicycle, scooter, roller blade, and skateboard collisions. The most serious collisions involve head injuries. A single rule - wear a helmet – a properly fitted helmet can reduce the risk of head and brain injury by as much as 88 percent.

3 finger rule
1. No more than one finger should fit between the chin and strap
2. Helmet should sit two fingers above the eye brow
3. Y shape
